Kepimpinan Moral: Falsafah dan Model Kepimpinan dari Perspektif Moral

Perbincangan tentang kebajikan (virtue) dan moraliti dalam kepimpinan sudah lama wujud dalam kalangan ahli falsafah dunia. Kepimpinan pula sudah diiktiraf sebagai satu “keperluan” untuk membina kekuatan sesuatu organisasi. Elemen-elemen kepimpinan yang wajar dimiliki oleh seseorang pemimpin seperti kuasa, nilai, karisma, karakter, akauntabiliti, perancangan dalam pengorganisasian, hubungan pemimpin-pengikut dan matlamt organisasi sering menjadi asas untuk melahirkan pelbagai gaya kepimpinan. Namun, kepimpinan yang mendasari aspek moral dan kemoralan masih terhad dan kurang dipraktikkan oleh para pemimpin. Oleh itu, kertas konsep ini adalah bertujuan untuk mengupas fasafah kepimpinan moral dan Model Kepimpinan Moral yang wujud, dari perspektif moral. Elemen-elemen moral yang mendasari Model Kepimpinan Moral seperti agensi moral, konsep kendiri moral, keperibadian mulia, altruisme, kandungan moral dan emosi moral dikupas dan dibincangkan untuk memberikan penjelasan yang lebih luas dan mendalam. Elemen-elemen moral yang digunakan untuk membina Model Kepimpinan Moral ternyata selaras dengan falsafah moral yang mampu diterjemahkan untuk merealisasikan kepimpinan moral dalam semua organisasi.
