Peralihan Dari Pembelajaran Bersemuka Ke Pembelajaran Secara Atas Talian Untuk Subjek Mechanics Of Civil Engineering Structures semasa Pandemik COVID-19

Kajian kuantitatif ini dilakukan untuk menentukan sikap, persepsi dan perbandingan terhadap peralihan dari pembelajaran bersemuka ke pembelajaran secara atas talian untuk subjek Mechanics of Civil Engineering Structures semasa pandemik COVID-19. Selain itu, dapatan kajian tentang sikap pembelajaran atas talian terhadap jantina juga diperolehi di kalangan 101 orang pelajar semester 2 yang mengambil kursus Diploma Kejuruteraan Awam, Politeknik Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah. Instrumen kajian yang digunakan adalah berbentuk soal selidik berdasarkan lima skala Likert dengan penglibatan pelajar yang terdiri daripada 52 pelajar lelaki dan 49 pelajar perempuan. Kajian ini menggunakan dua jenis analisis, iaitu statistik deskriptif dan analisis inferensi. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan nilai min bagi sikap pelajar adalah 3.51, persepsi pelajar terhadap kesan pembelajaran mempunyai nilai min sebanyak 3.29, persepsi pelajar terhadap penglibatan nilai min sebanyak 3.61 dan perbandingan pembelajaran atas talian dan bersemuka nilai min yang diperolehi adalah 3.40. Untuk min keseluruhan, nilai yang diperolehi adalah 3.45 dan ini menunjukkan setiap aspek yang dikaji terhadap pelajar semasa peralihan dari pembelajaran bersemuka ke pembelajaran secara atas talian adalah sederhana. Analisis dapatan kajian turut menjelaskan bahawa sikap pembelajaran atas talian untuk subjek ini tidak dipengaruhi oleh jantina dengan nilai t = 1.027 dan sig = 0.307 (p>0.05). Namun demikian, pelajar masih mampu memberikan motivasi dan mengambil bahagian di sepanjang proses pengajaran walaupun kesan terhadap pembelajaran dan persepsi terhadap penglibatan semasa aktiviti dalam kelas atas talian mereka berada pada tahap sederhana berbanding dengan pembelajaran bersemuka di bilik kuliah. Kajian ini telah memberi gambaran yang jelas dan membantu para pensyarah dalam membuat persediaan dan penambahbaikan yang boleh diambil untuk menjalankan pembelajaran atas talian bagi subjek ini.
