Abstract

Konsep pemakanan merangkumi pelbagai proses dan kesan yang berkaitan dengan makanan dan kesannya terhadap organisma hidup. Kertas kerja ini bertujuan untuk memberikan analisis komprehensif tentang definisi pemakanan. Selain itu, ia meneroka hubungan antara pemakanan dan kesejahteraan pelajar sekolah menengah, berdasarkan analisis keperluan yang melibatkan 601 pelajar dari sebuah sekolah menengah di Shah Alam. Kajian ini mendalami pengetahuan pelajar tentang Piramid Makanan, memberi pendedahan pelajar kepada konsep pemakanan melalui pelbagai mata pelajaran, dan potensi implikasi psikologi dan pembelajaran daripada tabiat pemakanan yang tidak sihat. Seterusnya membincangkan kerangka teori bagi Teori Tingkah Laku Terancang (TPB) dan Teori Tindakan Beralasan (TRA) dalam memahami dan menangani tingkah laku makan pelajar. Penemuan ini menyerlahkan kepentingan pemakanan dalam membentuk hasil fizikal, psikologi dan pendidikan pelajar sekolah menengah, menekankan keperluan intervensi yang disasarkan untuk menggalakkan tabiat pemakanan yang sihat dan kesejahteraan keseluruhan.
