Archiving Policy
The ANP Journal of Social Science and Humanities (ANP-JSSH), published by the Persatuan Penyelidik Latihan Kemahiran dan Vokasional (Association for Researcher of Skills & Vocational Training – ARSVOT), is committed to the permanent availability, accessibility, and long-term digital preservation of all published scholarly articles. To ensure that published research remains permanently accessible to the global academic community regardless of technical failure or organizational changes, the journal utilizes multiple distributed digital preservation systems and maintains a liberal author self-archiving policy.
PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) ANP Journal of Social Science and Humanities utilizes the Public Knowledge Project Preservation Network (PKP PN) to digitally preserve its content. The PKP PN ensures that journals built on Open Journal Systems (OJS) are securely archived into decentralized dark archives using the LOCKSS program, guaranteeing that the content remains accessible in perpetuity should the journal ever cease publication or experience catastrophic server loss.
LOCKSS (Lots of Copies Keep Stuff Safe) This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system, developed at Stanford University Libraries, to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries. It permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.
CLOCKSS (Controlled LOCKSS) This journal supports the CLOCKSS system to create a permanent, geographically distributed dark archive across global research libraries. In the event of a "trigger event" (such as the journal no longer being available from the publisher), the preserved content is released from the CLOCKSS archive and made permanently available under an open-access license to everyone worldwide at no cost.
